MOMS:THE ARCHITECTS OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

A woman has a lot of cherished roles in Islam; she is a daughter, a sister, a wife, and a mother. Every role is as important as rays of sunlight, but being a mother tops every other role. Why??? Because, as a mother, she is embracing motherhood; she is the constant of every child's life. In this blog, I will address the age-long concept of people stating,

  1. What is Mother's Day?
  2. Isn't every day Mother's Day?

Mother's Day

Mother's day is celebrated all over the world on 12th of May, to pay a tribute to every woman who serves the duty of motherhood.

 Motherhood:

Mothers play a very important role in our society, especially in how our everyday lives go on. What makes a woman an embodiment of unconditional love toward her children is motherhood. The following are the basic constituents of motherhood:.

  • Caregiver
  • Role model
  • Love for all
  • Support system
  • Moral development
  • Advocate for children

Should There Be a Mother's Day

To celebrate what your mother does for you one day is not enough, as many people say every day is Mother's Day. But do we take it as this so we can look at the other side? How many times a year do you thank your mother? Um, three times at maximum, or when you achieve something big, is it so? But having a day especially dedicated to mothers makes everyone conscious to do something for their mothers. For instance, we study the same syllabus all year, right? But we prepare extra-consciously to study on exam day, so don't you think both scenarios have similarities? We appreciate mothers every day, or as often as we remember what a great blessing they are. This day only serves as a reminder to reinforce this concept.

Concluding Remarks

So, my answer is yes, there should be a Mother's Day because they deserve to feel special as they make us special throughout our lives. As they prioritize our needs, why not prioritize them for at least one day? But the point is that whatever you do on Mother's Day should be solely for your mother, not for social media posting.
I hope I cleared my point with you guys. Feel free to either agree or disagree with me.
